Challenge Cup results

The challenge cup result are online . A great win from Team Russia.

After a well deserved holiday, the team has started the preparations for the 2018 tournament, and we're very excited to try to make it even better than last year's edition.

Just like always, we'll organise the tournament during the Easter weekend, and just like the two previous years, our U17 tournament will be part of Badminton Europe's U17 circuit.

We're currently doing the last preparations before we can open up inscriptions, so you can expect an invitation from us within the next few weeks. If you have any questions before that, don't hesitate to contact us!

Practical Information

We're busy with the last preparations for this year's tournament and I'm really convinced it's going to be a great edition. Before you come over to Belgium, I have some practical info you need to know about:

  • The U17 coach meeting will be on Friday evening at 21h00 in Den Willecom. We have to do this the day before, because all replacements for U17 have to happen at the coach meeting. If you have players on the reserve list, it's especially important for you to be there. We will have a general coach meeting, focussed on U11 - U15, as usual on Saturday morning at 8h30.
  • In Den Willecom, the tournament will start at 9 am, but at De Nachtegaal, we start a little later. 9h30 on Saturday and 10 am on Sunday.
  • Just like last year, we will organise a security check at the entrance of each hall. This may cause some delays, so please be patient, we're doing this for everyone's safety.

See you all next week!

Reserve List

Hi everyone. Badminton Europe has the acceptance list published for the U17 tournament. Please have a careful look there, especially if you've entered in MS or MD, because there some players are on the reserve list.

Partner wanted

Some player are still looking for a partner in the U17 events. You can't indicate this on the BWF online entry system, so we're using our Facebook to get people together. Post your message over there if you're looking for a partner, or have a look at the people that are already looking for partners. Our Facebook page

Dear badminton friends,

As each year, during the Easter weekend, OLVE Badminton (Belgium) organises the Victor JOT Tournament (U11, U13, U15, U17). The U17 tournament is part of the badminton Europe U17 circuit.

Next year, we will be glad to welcome you as from Friday April 14. Our tournament will take place from Saturday April 15 until Monday, April 17 2017. We have the following documents for you:

  • A document with some general information about the tournamentrules ,about entries and prices for U11, U13 and U15.
  • The same document with the rules for U17. They differ on some points, because of it being a BEC U17 tournament.
  • An intention of participation form, which you can use to tell us you will participate to the tournament, but don't know the exact player names yet.(for U11, U13 and U15)
  • The general entry form for U11, U13 and U15.

We will reply to every e-mail you send us to confirm we received it. If you haven't received a reply after 4 days, we probably haven't received your e-mail.

Kind Regards,

15th edition

After a few months off rest the time has come for us to start preparing for the 2017 edition (15-16-17 april). And we can already tell you that this this edition will not be a normal one because in 2017 JOT is going to celebrate it's 15th anniversary. So 2 days ago we had our first meeting to discuss some new ideas/plans for this edition. And we are working on some really awesome ideas to make this edition a speciale one.

So keep on following our Facebook, twitter and snapchat if you want to know more about it.
